NJC Considers 36 Candidates For Appointment

National Judicial Council (NJC) has considered thirty-six candidates successful for appointment as Heads of Courts in Nigeria.

The NJC, at its 95th Meeting on the 15th and 16th September 2021, considered the list of candidates presented by its Interview Committee and recommended the under-listed successful candidates to their respective State Governors for appointment as Heads of Courts and other Judicial Offices in Nigeria.

The recommended candidates are expected to be confirmed by their respective State House of Assemblies, and sworn-in after approval by President, Muhammadu Buhari and their State Governors.
