Accreditation is already ongoing in Anambra state for voters to be able to exercise their civic rights, Prime Business Africa reports.

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials are already on ground with electioneering materials while the people of Anambra are gearing up to participate.

The election process was expected to have begun at 8:30am, this morning.

There is peace and calm around the major cities of Anambra, such as Amobia, Nnewi, Awka, Aguata and others where accreditation has begun.

Commissioner of Police, Echeng C. Echeng, has also encouraged that if anybody notices any polling unit not manned by Policemen, a call should be put across to him and it will be dealt with.
