“Akume’s legacies as retired Permanent Secretary in Benue State, Governor of Benue (1999-2007), Senator (2007-2019), Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and SGF will continue to endure, based on his impressive achievements and for championing political inclusiveness in Benue State and Nigeria at large,” he revealed.

While wishing him good health, wisdom, peace of mind and more fruitful years, he urged Akume to continue to deploy his intellectual capacity and vast experience in coordinating the affairs of the government towards the realization of the Presidency’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
