This is in line with the motion moved by Mustapha Yusuf, the member representing Jibia Constituency,  following an auto accident involving Customs officers that led to the death of six people on Monday.

The lawmakers lamented that Customs officers, especially those in the border drill team, were unlawful.

The border drill is a joint task team of officers of the Nigeria Customs Service, State Security Service, Police, and Nigeria Immigration Service supervised by the Office of the National Security Adviser.

The House also resolved to write to the National Assembly to protest the activities of the drill team.
