Buhari Prays for Return Of Peace

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has offered prayers for peace and security to return to Nigeria as well as a full recovery of the nation’s economy ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic.

President Buhari who continued his visit to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday made a quick stopover in Madinah where he engaged in serious prayers for peace and security to return all over Nigeria

The President spent quality time in the mosque praying and reciting the Holy Quran.

Buhari and the Nigerian delegation prayed for the well-being of the nation and its people and for the full restoration of peace and security in Nigeria and around the globe.

Prayers for the economy, ravaged by insecurity issues were also offered.

The President who was earlier received by the Deputy Governor of the Region Prince Sa’ud Al-Faisal at the Prince Muhammad Abdulaziz Airport, Madinah, will later on in the evening proceed to Makkah for the performance of the Umrah

Recall that President Buhari arrived in Riyadh on Monday evening for a five-day visit to Saudi Arabia to attend an Investment Summit as well as perform the lesser Hajj and is expected back in Abuja on Friday.
