Chairman of Allray Maritime Services Limited and CEO of Goodseed Foundation, Elder Raymond Aliga has warned Mr Dannie Ubani, former Abia Commissioner for Youth Development to desist from linking him to anything concerning the state fund.
The business mogul was reacting to a post by Ubani who is also the Labour Party candidate for the Isiala-Ngwa South State Constituency in the just concluded election, where he linked him and Abia Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to the purchase of a certain hotel in Lagos.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelUbani in his post equally alleged that he last night, slept in a N1.2 state-of-the-art hotel owned by Aliga and Ikpeazu located at Plot 2, Block 12, Ogun Street, Osborne Foreshore Estate 1, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Meanwhile, Aliga in a statement signed by Olusegun Oyebode, his Media Assistant warned Ubani that he has been a successful businessman, agripreneur and renowned maritime service provider long before the emergence of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu as Executive Governor of Abia State in 2015.
The statement reads, “Our attention has been drawn to a social media publication by a self-acclaimed Alex Otti’ attack dog and merchant of cheap fortune, Dannie Ubani, titled “Ndi Abia, See your money o” wherein he unsuccessfully sought to bring to public disrepute and ridicule, one of Abia’s most respected business moguls and entrepreneur of supreme pedigree, Elder Raymond Aliga, MON. We wish to state as follows:
“Elder Raymond Aliga, MON, popularly called Goodseed has been a successful businessman, agripreneur and renowned maritime service provider long before the emergence of Dr Okezie Ikpeazu as Executive Governor of Abia State in 2015.
“He has never occupied any public office in Abia State or elsewhere in the world.
“Elder Aliga is proud of his long-standing friendship with Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, who he knows to be a principled and focused leader that frowns at primitive wealth acquisition and hateful political engagements.
“We wish to warn Dannie Ubani, other hired social media hacks and the masquerade that is sponsoring them that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. A word is enough for the wise.”
