The Deputy National Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nze Chidi Duru, has been applauded for his consistent financial and moral support to the party in Anambra State, even as he passed a vote of confidence on the Chief Basil Ejidike-led Executive Committee in the state.

Nze Duru was commended for his benevolence during the Anambra State APC Stakeholders’ Meeting held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Finotel Hotel, Awka, Anambra State.

Speaking at the event, the APC stalwart applauded the Chief Ejikeme-led State Executive Committee for providing the much-needed leadership towards making the party a household name in the State.

Nze Duru noted that the meeting would proffer directions on how to boost the fortunes of the APC in Anambra State, as well as how to deepen internal democracy in the running of the party’s affairs at the State level.

He expressed delight with Senators Ifeanyi Ubah, Uche Ekwunife, and others for joining the party, while noting that their presence in the party would further enhance the profile of the party in the state as they approach the 2025 gubernatorial election.

“The meeting is a demonstration of the fact that Anambra State APC is ready to occupy an enviable position in the scheme of things in Anambra, South East zone, and Nigeria at large,” he revealed.

On his part, Chief Ejidike, the State Party Chairman disclosed that the purpose of the meeting was for the party’s stakeholders to rub minds on how to build a stronger and people-oriented party and government in Anambra State.

“This meeting indeed heralds a new chapter in the history of our party as we collectively grow our resolve to build a strong and united party in the State, devoid of rancor, sabotage, and disloyalty,” he disclosed.

He commended Nze Duru for assisting the party with monthly financial support for the sustenance of its activities in the state, even as he urged other leaders of the party to emulate him.
