WhatsApp Ends Support On 49 Android, iPhone Gadgets

December 27, 2022

WhatsApp periodically phases out older smartphones, so it’s a no-brainer that they have announced that they would be ending support for some devices by the 31st of December 2022..

According to GizChina, the list of outdated devices include 49 smartphones from Apple, Samsung, Huawei, LG, and others. WhatsApp announced on its official support page that it will no longer be supporting these phones because they haven’t been updated in a long time and WhatsApp has upped the requirements for its app, so phones that don’t run at least Android 5.0 Lollipop or iOS 12 will no longer be supported.
