Court Dismisses YPP’s Lawsuit Against APGA Candidate Eleodimmuo

The Federal High Court sitting at Awka has just dismissed the case against Hon. Uchenna Clement.N. Eleodimmuo  by the Young progressive party (YPP). Hon Eleodimmuo was nominated to fly the flag of APGA in the 2023 house of representatives elections for Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal constituency of Anambra State and this decision did not sit well with the Young progressive party (YPP).

Based on preliminary objection, the court held that YPP lacks the locus standi to institute the law suit. According to the court, the suit is non-justiciable and the suit is statute barred. based on the merit of the case, the plaintiff failed to prove his case.

The court dismissed the suit with the cost of 1 million Naira against the plaintiff to each of the defendants.

DR. C. B Anyigbo, SAN who represented Hon. Uchenna Clement N. Eleodimmuo, thanked the court for the erudite judgment. He said- fight God’s own project and have yourself disgraced. Do not fight a man with enough grace because his grace will disgrace you. Uchenna Eleodimmuo is a project whose time has come.
