ACAMB Elects New Leadership To Drive Growth, Collaboration In Nigerian Banking Sector

The Association of Corporate and Marketing Communication Professionals in Nigerian Banks (ACAMB) has elected a new Executive Committee during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Lagos on January 24, 2024.

This development marks a transition as the newly elected leaders gear up to shape the future trajectory of the association over the next two years.

Rasheed Bolarinwa, the President-elect from Polaris Bank, expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the new leadership team.

In his statement, he emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration to achieve the association’s objectives. “We are thrilled to announce the new Executive Committee of ACAMB, a team that embodies the spirit of creativity, ambition, and collaboration,” he stated.

Jide Sipe, the outgoing General Secretary, presented the scorecard of the previous Exco, highlighting their resilience and commitment to the association’s founding mandate. “Despite the odds, we remained resolute and hopeful for a better future,” Sipe remarked. He assured members of the outgoing Exco’s commitment to continuously protect the image and reputation of ACAMB.

The newly elected Executive Committee comprises prominent figures from various banks, including Oze K Oze of First Bank, Tolulope Onipede of Guaranty Trust Bank, and Halima Isha of JAIZ Bank, among others. Each member is poised to take on key leadership roles within the association.

During the AGM, members actively participated in discussions on upcoming initiatives, projects, and events planned for the 2024 financial year.

The atmosphere reflected the commitment of ACAMB to fostering collaboration and innovation within the financial sector.

ACAMB remains steadfast in its dedication to promoting excellence, fostering professional development, and advocating for the interests of its members in the banking sector.
