CAF President Motsepe Donates $200k To Catholic Church In Yaounde, Cameroon

Patrice Motsepe on beglhalf of his foundation has donated the sum of $200, 000 to the Catholic Church in Cameroon.

The South African billionaire mining magnate attended Sunday mass today (January 16) at the St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Yaoundé, Cameroon where he donated US$200 000 to the Catholic Church of Cameroon on behalf of the Motsepe Foundation.

 

He was accompanied by the CAF Secretary General, Mr Veron Mosengo-Omba who also attended the church service.

 

It is not the first time the philanthropist is gifting monetary donations to the church.

 

In March 2018, Motsepe through his foundation, donated $22.6 million to Catholic Church and schools in South Africa’s Soweto region.
