UNN Pharmacy Alumni Organise Homecoming

… Plan To Lend Support To Faculty Of Pharmacy

MEMBERS of 1985 graduating class of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, are organising homecoming scheduled to hold on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

The group which is called “Circle of 85”, said they would use opportunity of the visit to seek specific areas of partnership and intervention to further the ideals of the faculty of pharmacy as an act of giving back, to help improve teaching and learning in 21st century pharmaceuticals in the institution.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by Chukwuanu, Chuka Dozie, President of the group, Dr. Uju Onwuatuegu, First Vice President, Dr. Eromona Whiskey, second Vice President, Dr. Ebere Ekpunobi, Ex-Officio, and Prof. Emmanuel Ibezim, Member; a copy of which was sent to Prime Business Africa by US-based Ikechukwu Ngene, Secretary of the group.

The group said that UNN’s Faculty of Pharmacy has trained many eminent pharmacists who have worked in different capacities in the society, adding that it is hope of the members that the gesture would be a trigger for more productive interactions between students and the alumni and also help to motivate other graduating sets to emulate them and do more for the faculty in advancing teaching and learning.

The event, which will hold at Altinez Lecture Hall, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UNN, will address the topic, “A Strategic Partnership.”
