Soldier Allegedly Stabs Hoodlum To Death For Snatching Ballot Box In Kogi

A suspected hoodlum popularly known as Ojochenemi Atidoga has been stabbed to death by a soldier for disrupting the ongoing voting exercise at Open Space University Village polling unit, Anyigba, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi state.

The hoodlum was reportedly bullying and threatening to kill anybody who votes for any other party other than the All Progressives Congress (APC).

As a result of his unhealthy activities many voters who were not APC supporters had to escape from the polling unit to avoid being injured.

He, however, ran out of luck when Military men on election duty caught him. He was beaten and stabbed in the lap where he bled to death on the floor.

Meanwhile, some boys alleged to be his fellow came with motorbikes and raided the polling unit and dispersed the voters and escaped with his corpse immediately after the soldiers left the polling unit.

The action caused chaos and forced the voters to scamper for safety.
