Complete Sports Publisher, Ojeagbase To Be Buried April 1

Prime Business Africa reported the death of one Nigeria and Africa’s biggest media icons and publisher, Emmanuel Sunny Ojeagbase who passed on to eternal glory in Atlanta, USA on 26 February 2022.

On Tuesday, 22 March 2022, the Ojeagbase family released the programme for his funeral service both in Nigeria and the USA.

“The family of Pastor (Dr.) Emmanuel Sunny Ojeagbase, Founder and Executive Chairman of Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Complete Sports and Success Digest, have released the programme for his burial.

“On Thursday, 31 March, 2022, a Service of Songs for Pastor (Dr.) Emmanuel Sunny Ojeagbase will be held at Hillcrest Events Center, No. 46, Ago Palace Way Okota, Lagos at 4.00pm, local time. Attendance is strictly by invitation and will be restricted to family members, friends, business associates and staff of Pst. (Dr.) Ojeagbase. The general public at home and abroad will, however, be able to link up to the service by virtual means via the following link:

“The Service of Songs will be conducted by ministers from the Living Faith Church, Cannanland, Ota.

“The following day, Friday, 1 April, 2022, Pst. (Dr.) Ojeagbase will be buried in the United States of America.

“The burial ceremony venue is Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, Atlanta, Georgia. Time is 11.00am in Atlanta (4.00pm in Nigeria). The burial is open to all friends and associates of Pst. (Dr.) Ojeagbase who are able to attend.

“Pst.(Dr.) Emmanuel Sunny Ojeagbase passed on to glory on 26 February, 2022 in Atlanta, USA, after a brief illness. He was 71 years old.

Prime Business Africa’s Sub Editor and Senior Correspondent, Izuchukwu Okosi was a staff of Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Complete Sports newspapers between 2004 and 2017.

Izuchukwu Okosi is a Nigerian sports and entertainment journalist with two decades of experience in the media industry having begun his media journey in 2002 as an intern at Mundial Sports International (MSI) and Africa Independent Television (AIT), owners of Daar Communications Plc.

In October 2004, Okosi joined Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Complete Sports newspaper and Complete Football magazine as a reporter and later script writer for the Complete Sports studio.

He worked there for 13 years until October 2017.

Okosi also worked various times as Correspondent, Content creator and Editor at Sports Market International Magazine, Opera News, All Nigeria Soccer Media and Iconic Media Watch.

He also undertook freelance writing gigs for some local and international organizations.

Okosi is a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Association of Movie Producers (AMP), Association of Voiceover Artistes of Nigeria (AVOA), Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

He has been part of cast in some Nollywood movies and radio dramas including Blood Money 2, Scores To Settle, Dead End 2, Another Campus Tale and Battle Line.

Aside mainstream media and the entertainment industry, he has interests in scouting/unearthing of talents in the sports and creative sectors, exports business and property development.
