Moghalu who made the remark while speaking at the 2022 Babcock University convocation lecture, enjoined Nigerian Leaders to promote discussions that would encourage a sense of nationalism, peace and national cohesion.

The presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in the 2019 election, and a presidential aspirant in the African Democratic Congress during the recently concluded primaries of the party, observed that with the prevailing condition of things, the country is going no where.

He said “Nigeria cannot go anywhere without knowledge, vision, passion and innovation. That is what a wealthy nation is built on.”

According to former Nigerian president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who was chairman of the occasion, the county seems to have lost direction in nation building. He argued that as long the Nigerian leaders do not get it right in nation building, nothing will work successful.

Obasanjo urged the political leaders to match political will with positive political actions to put the country on the right path of development and progress.
