United Arab Emirates (UAE) has added six Nigerians to its list of persons and organizations sponsoring terrorism globally.

According to a publication by the UAE official news agency, the decision was taken through a resolution issued by the Emirate Cabinet, who explained that they are committed to curbing terrorism in the word

The cabinet issued its decision within the framework of the UAE’s keenness to target and disrupt networks associated with the financing of terrorism, and other activities associated with it.

The Nigerians listed are Abdurrahaman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad.

The list also contains foreigners like Emiratis, Yemenis, Iranians, Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, Saudi, Indian, Afghan, a British, a Russian, a Jordanian, and a person with the citizenship of Saint Kitts and Nevis, as well as 15 corporate entities.
