Obi Mourns Late PBA Director, Ambassador Otobo

Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi together with his family has joined other concerned Nigerians to mourn the death of late Ambassador Ejeviome Eloho Otobo who was a director and member of Prime Business Africa’s Editorial Board.

Late Ambassador Otobo until his death contributed invaluably to the growth of the online newspaper.

Otobo also served in various national and international spheres including, being a non-resident senior fellow in Peacebuilding and Global Economic Policy at Global Governance Institute in Brussels, Belgium.

Obi shared his condolences through his verified Twitter handle saying “My family and I convey our most profound condolences to the Otobo family on the tragic and mysterious death of their patriarch, HE Amb. Ejeviome Eloho Otobo.”

He stated that though he does not have any personal experience with the late diplomat, he is aware that Otobo had volunteered and worked closely with his associates with effort to rescue Nigeria.

The former governor of Anambra State, did not fail to applaud Otobo,  recognizing him as serving Nigeria and United Nations diligently and  honorably. He further remarked that through Otobo’s expert analyses and publications, he added significant value to the course of good governance and peace building.

He afterwards prayed for the family of the deceased wishing them the fortitude to bear the loss he termed “colossal.”

Recall that the Board and Management of Newstide Publications Limited,  publishers of Prime Business Africa, had earlier announced Otobo’s  sudden demise.

Late Otobo was found dead on Thursday afternoon in Tuckahoe, Westchester County, New York, United States, where he has been residing for many years.
