NGX ASI Further Drops By 0.67%, As BUA Cement, Eterna Among Top Losers

The capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Limited, also known as the stock market, closed at N92.21 trillion on Tuesday, November 18, and the all-share index (ASI) settled at 144,986.51 ASI.

Also, equity traders exchanged 381,23 million shares in 21,827 deals, valued at N16,71 billion.

Top five gainers

  • NCR’s share price increased by N2.80 kobo to rise from N28.15 kobo to N30.95 kobo per share.
  • UPL’s share value grew by N0.50 kobo, from N5.10 kobo to N5.60 kobo per share.
  • Tantalizer ended trading at N2.58 kobo per share, from N2.35 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N0.23 kobo.
  • Caverton gained N0.45 kobo to end trading at N5.15 kobo, having opened with N4.70 kobo.
  • Union Dicon’s share value was up by N0.60 kobo, after closing at N6.90 kobo from N6.30 kobo per share.

Top five losers

  • LivingTrust’s share price depreciated by N0.41 kobo, dwindling from N4.14 kobo to N3.73 kobo per share.
  • McNichols recorded a N0.27 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N2.73 kobo after opening with N3 per share.
  • Livestock lost N0.55 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N6.55 kobo from N7.10 kobo per share.
  • Regal Insurance reported a decline of 6.56 percent from the previous day’s share price of N1.22 kobo to end trading at N1.14 kobo per share.
  • UPDC recorded a N0.39 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N5.96 kobo after opening with N6.35 kobo per share.

  • Tantalizer reported that 58.77 million shares valued at N145.99 million were traded on its floor.
  • Sterling Financial recorded 31.41 million shares valued at N242.41 million.
  • Universal Insurance saw investors trade 28.10 million of its shares valued at N35.81 million.
  • Veritas Kapital recorded 25.24 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N47.68 million.
  • Aradel reported 16.34 million shares valued at N9.49 billion exchanged in investors’ hands.
