The market capitalisation of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) closed at N105.96 trillion on Thursday, January 29, above the N105.73 trillion recorded on Wednesday.
NGX revealed that the market capitalisation surged by N232.34 billion following a 0.21 percent appreciation in the all-share index (ASI).

Equity traders were involved in 38,665 deals, trading 691.41 million shares worth N15.37 billion, compared to the 623.17 million shares exchanged in 42,172 deals, valued at N16.54 billion, on Wednesday.

- FGSUK2032S5’s share price increased by N10 to rise from N99.99 kobo to N110 per share.
- RT Briscoe’s share value grew by N0.65 kobo, from N6.50 kobo to N7.15 kobo per share.
- LOTUSHAL15 ended trading at N121 per share, from N110.02 per share – indicating an increase of N10.98 kobo.
- SCOA gained N2.85 kobo to end trading at N31.60 kobo, having opened with N28.75 kobo.
- Deap Capital’s share value was up by N0.94 kobo, after closing at N10.43 kobo from N9.49 kobo per share.

- FGSUK2031S4’s share price depreciated by N19, dwindling from N100 to N81 per share.
- HM Call recorded a N0.43 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N0.43 kobo after opening with N4.37 kobo per share.
- Union Dicon lost N0.95 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N8.75 kobo from N9.70 kobo per share.
- UPL recorded a N0.50 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N5.75 kobo after opening with N6.25 kobo per share.
- Legend Internet reported a decline of N0.45 kobo from the previous day’s share price of N5.95 kobo to end trading at N5.50 kobo per share.
