NANS Pledges Support For Fuel Subsidy Removal, Student Loan Act

Nigerian Students Fault Court Ruling On ASUU Strike

The National Association of Nigerian Students on Tuesday, in Abuja, pledged to support the removal of Fuel Subsidy and the Student Loan Act signed into law by President Bola Tinubu.

Executive members of NANS made the pledge when they were led on a visit to President Tinubu by Mr Usman Barambu, the president of the association.

Pictures of the students’ visit were shared in a Facebook post by former presidential media aide, Buhari Sallau.

According to Sallau, ”National Association of Nigerian Students executives led by their president, Mr Usman Barambu; National Association of University Students president, Mr Obaji Marshal; National Association of Colleges of Education Students president, Mr Aminu Habibu alongside Mr Dotun Omoleye of the National Council of Nigeria visited President Bola Tinubu to declare total support for the Student Loan Act signed by the President and also the Fuel Subsidy removal.”
