DSS Rearrests Emefiele After Tussle With Prison Officials

Officials of Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) who were in court to take into custody the suspended Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, who was arraigned by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Tuesday at the Federal High Court, Lagos, left the court without him.

Emefiele appeared before Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court in Lagos who granted him bail following his “not guilty” plea over the charge of illegal possession of a firearm.
