Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino could now be about to miss out on his number one summer transfer target Moises Caicedo who has reportedly chosen Arsenal as his next destination at the expense of the Blues.

The latest transfer scoop was first reported by Ecuadorian news outlet Teradeportes.

A picture speaks a thousand words and Teradeportes have let a graphic of theirs to do most of the talking in this instance.

The publication hinted in a Twitter post that the decision is very close as regards Caicedo’s next club when he departs Brighton and Hoves Albion.

The interesting caption was accompanied by a graphic of the Brighton No.25 wearing an Arsenal shirt, which was intriguingly placed next to a blurrier image of Caicedo in Chelsea colours.

The Ecuadorian news outlet – who should have their finger on the pulse when it comes to updates about Caicedo, arguably Ecuador’s greatest talent for many years – wrote that “the decision is very close” on Twitter.

It suggests that the South American has chosen the Gunners ahead of the Blues, with Chelsea pushed into the background in Teradeportes’ post.

Teradeportes did not elaborate on the post by publishing an article on their website.

However, the telling tweet has since gone viral, with many Arsenal fans allowing themselves to get excited over the prospect of Caicedo moving to the Emirates Stadium.
