Renowned social media commentator, Reno Omokri has offered to give a $100,000 reward to anyone who can prove that Chicago State University Registrar said President Bola Tinubu forged his certificate or even made an allusion to that.
Mr Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan specifically challenged media houses to acquire the transcript of President Tinubu released by Chicago State University’s registrar.

Over the weekend, the US court in the northern district of Illinois ordered the Chicago State University (CSU) to release the academic records of Tinubu to Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2023 presidential election.
CSU on Monday, released the academic records of President Tinubu, following requests by Atiku Abubakar.
The authenticity of the result has sparked uproar on various social media platforms.
Speaking on his X page formerly Twitter, Mr. Omokri stated: “As a media house, don’t be lazy. Apply to get a transcript of the deposition given by Chicago State University’s registrar. If anybody can show anywhere where Chicago State University’s registrar said Bola Tinubu forged his certificate or even made any such allusion, I will give you $100,000.”
Not stopping at words alone, Mr. Omokri even went on to provide the media with contact details of Chicago State University’s registrar, Mr. Caleb Westberg. He shared the registrar’s email address as [email protected] and provided his phone number as +1 (773) 995-2517, urging media professionals and private citizens alike to engage with him directly.

Mr. Omokri stressed the significance of a thorough investigation, saying, “Don’t be lazy. Put some effort into it and investigate this very important news development. Even you, as a private citizen, can contact him. I don’t support Bola Tinubu and have never previously supported him. But I support and have always supported the truth.”
