Iran has rejected a proposed truce in its conflict with the United States and Israel, state media reported Monday, despite a stark warning from U.S. President Donald Trump to target the country’s critical infrastructure.
“Iran has conveyed to Pakistan its response to the American proposal to end the war,” the official news agency IRNA reported, without disclosing the source or details of the U.S. offer.
According to IRNA, Tehran’s response, outlined in ten points, rejected a ceasefire and called for a definitive end to the conflict.

Trump warned Sunday that unless Iran agreed by Tuesday evening to guarantee free passage of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, he would order strikes on the country’s power plants and bridges.
IRNA said Tehran’s counterproposal included demands for an end to regional conflicts, a protocol ensuring safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, reconstruction, and the lifting of sanctions.
