Also, 2,746.36 basis points were added to the all-share index (ASI), as it expanded from 135,166.51 ASI to 137,912.87 ASI.

About N30.62 billion was exchanged for 940.80 million shares in 28,358 deals, compared to Monday’s N23,23 billion traded for 795.59 million shares in 37,626 deals.

Top five gainers

  • Berger Paints’ share price increased by N3.10 kobo, to rise from N31 to N34.10 kobo per share.
  • HMCall’s share value grew by N0.43 kobo, from N4.30 kobo to N4.73 kobo per share.
  • Learn Africa ended trading at N6.93 kobo per share, from N6.30 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N0.63 kobo.
  • Thomas Wyatt gained N0.29 kobo to end trading at N3.19 kobo, having opened with N2.90 kobo.
  • Ellah Lakes’ share value was up by N0.89 kobo, after closing at N9.80 kobo from N8.91 kobo per share.

Top five losers

  • NNFM’s share price depreciated by N10.35 kobo, dwindling from N103.50 kobo to N93.15 kobo per share.
  • Associated Bus Company recorded a N0.80 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N7.20 kobo after opening with N8 per share.
  • Vitafoam lost N8.75 kobo in its share price after trading hours, to sell at N79.10 kobo from N87.85 kobo per share.
  • IMG reported a decline of N4.15 kobo from the previous day’s share price of N41.80 kobo to end trading at N37.65 kobo per share.
  • International Breweries recorded a N1.15 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N15.05 after opening with N16.20 kobo per share.
