Police Confirm Kidnap Of 3 Innoson Motors Staff, Vow To Rescue Victims

The Nigeria Police Force, Anambra State Command, has confirmed the kidnap of three staff of Innoson Motors on Tuesday, 26 November.

Prime Business Africa learnt that the company’s secretary, financial manager and a security officer were kidnapped by gunmen at the Innoson Motorcycle showroom in Nnewi, Anambra State on Tuesday.

It was gathered that the gunmen arrived at the place shortly after the CEO left on Tuesday evening.

In a statement on Tuesday night, the Anambra Police Command Spokesperson, SP Toochukwu Ikenga, said the command is determined to hunt down the suspect and rescue the kidnap victims.

The statement revealed that a joint security force has been deployed to rescue them unhurt.

The police command called on residents or anyone with useful information that will aid the investigation to come forward.

Ikenga said: “Anambra Joint Security Forces are on the offensive for possible rescue unhurt of three abducted victims and arrest of the Abductors today 26/11/2024 by 6:45 pm at Innoson motorcycle showroom along Owerri Road, Nnewi.

“The Police Command is determined and is already working with information obtained from the scene for the ongoing rescue operations.

“The Command also urges residents or anyone with useful information that will aid the investigation to come forward to the Command headquarters, Awka, or the nearest police station,”

The command also urged anyone with useful information to call the Command’s Emergency number 112 or 07039194332.
