3 Students In Police Net Over Sylvester Oromoni’s Death

Three students of Dowen College, Lekki where a 12- year-old student, Sylvester Oromoni was allegedly bullied to death for refusing to join a cult group are in the custody of the state police command.

Prime Business Africa previously reported that the deceased was reportedly dragged out of his bed, beaten and kicked on his head several times, and given a chemical portion to drink in his school hostel.

The victim’s cousin Perrie Oromoni, who announced the incident on social media via his Instagram account, wrote that “ this is my 12-year-old cousin that was beaten to death at a school that costs over N1 million.

“Anybody that wants to kill me can kill me now; my brother won’t die for nothing. Anslem Temile, Michael Kashamu, Benjamin Favour and Dowen College, just know he called your names before he died.”

Confirmed the arrest of the three students during a tv show on Tuesday morning, the state commissioner of police, Hakeem Odumosu describing the students in custody and two others as ‘prime suspects.”

Recall, the police had invited the management of the school and the five students, who were mentioned by the deceases Sylvester for questioning on Monday.

The police boss added that the command is working with its counterpart in Delta to conduct a post mortem on the body of the deceased student.
