Update: Davido’s Timeless Hits One Million Streams Hours After Release

The blockbuster album from Nigeria’s Afrobeats superstar, Davido Adeleke, Davido, titled ‘Timeless’ is currently making waves just less than 12 hours after its release on Friday.

The album on Friday afternoon has amassed over a million streams on music platform, Boomplay six hours after its release.

The hit album which relaunches the musical career of Davido following a period of solitude following the death of his three-year son, Ifeanyi is topping Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, the UK’s Top Albums Chart as well as on Apple Music.

Meanwhile, Grammy Awards winner, industry colleague and friend of Davido, Ayo Balogun (Wizkid) has tweeted his support for the release of the song and enjoined fans of Davido to listen to his latest work.

Timeless is a 17-track album that is expected to continue making waves for a long time.
