NPL Releases Fixtures For Super 8 Tournament In Lagos

The fixtures for the Super 8 pre season tournament at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos has been released by the Nigeria Premier League.

The competition will act as preparations for the six sides that took part in the zonal playoffs at the Eket Township stadium in Akwa Ibom two weeks ago and the two teams with wildcards invited to take part in the tournament .

The fixtures made available to Prime Business Africa shows that the competition which begins in Lagos on Friday, 7 July and runs until 16 July will be played with two days of interval in Groups A and B.

The pre season tournament has been endorsed by some leading Nigerian brands and will be broadcast live on pay television.

The highlight of the tournament will be fixture between Premier League champions, Enyimba FC and Remo Stars on July 9 at 2pm Nigerian time.
