The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) chairmanship candidate for Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Eze Chukwu, has said he will not challenge the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 21 election.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Chukwu congratulated the APC candidate, Christopher Maikalangu, who was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He said the outcome would not be contested “for any reason whatsoever,” describing elections as an opportunity for service rather than personal ambition.
Earlier, the APGA candidate alleged electoral irregularities, including INEC’s refusal to show the original result sheet, voter intimidation, and vote buying.

“AMAC belongs to all residents, irrespective of political, ethnic, or religious affiliations,” he said. “The new administration should reflect fairness, unity, and a commitment to the common good.”
Chukwu thanked his supporters for running a disciplined and principled campaign, emphasising that elections are contests of ideas and that character is measured by conduct throughout the process.
