Reekado Banks – Jeun To Da (JTD): Reekado Banks is back at it on new music Fridays with his new song ‘Jeun To Da’ which means Eat Good Food. Basically, this song preaches how you should make sure to take care of yourself as you live, not sparingly but ‘deservingly’, because you have tried and have worked hard. The fact that you’re tired doesn’t mean you’re lazy. I’m already a fan of this song, mostly because we’re all just pushing to get by. Check this out and let me know how you connect with it.
Liya – Izz Going (Skalala): DMW first female artiste, Liya is back with another track ‘Izz Going’, which has been getting a number of hypes even before it was released on TikTok and IG. She’s a very soulful artiste with the fullness that her voice brings and you should check it out.
Iyanya – The 6th Wave (Album): Iyanya has a new album out on New Music Fridays. With not just one or two songs out, Iyanya put out a full album with 8 different songs. He featured Kuami Eugene, Ayra Starr, Yung Alpha, Davido and Kizz Daniel on his album. The variety of songs on the album has people a bit interested to see what the whole body of work sounds like.
Young Jonn – Love is not enough Vol. 2: Talented producer turned artiste, Young Jonn has a new album out with 6 songs on it and are all captivating and vibe-worthy. Previously released ‘Normally’, ‘Dada’, ‘Xtra Cool’ and ‘Next to You’ are featured on this new album with new ‘Sokoto’ and ‘If You Leave’. This album needs to be checked out and vibed to immediately.
Ayra Starr – 19 & Dangerous (Deluxe): 19 and Dangerous Ayra Starr has kept her fire burning and her name at the top of her heads by dropping beautiful music for our pleasure. She recently released ‘Rush’ that topped the charts as the number 1 song in Nigeria for a period of time and she’s back with more fire music. She has a total of 16 songs on this Deluxe album with some previously released music and it’s so much excitement still listening to them. Check out the full album and let’s see what you think.
Vector ft. Cracker Mallo- Insomnia: Inspiring Nigerian artiste Vector teamed up with Nigerian producer, Ayodeji Olowu, popularly known as Cracker Mallo to create this single, ‘Insomnia’. With very simple and calm beat, this song will definitely put you to sleep (ironically). With Vector’s smooth rap talent and Cracker’s gentle and soothing beat intelligence, this song has to be on repeat on your playlist.
Teni – Trouble: Teni Makanaki put a new song called ‘Trouble’ and she did this in partnership with ‘A Colors Show’, same partnership that Oxlade has ‘KuLoSa’ with. Teni’s wittiness and personality makes her music so much more interesting and her vocal strength on this song has people shocked and impressed. Looking for a new Friday jam to get ready to or even for pre drinks, then this is your tune.
