Nigerian singer Simi has announced the birth of her second child, sharing the news with fans in an Instagram post accompanied by a series of maternity photographs.
The award-winning artiste revealed on Wednesday that the baby was born on March 10, 2026, marking a new addition to her family. In the post, she wrote, “symplysimi +1 3.10.26 God bless my little family,” alongside the hashtag “#mommyof2.”
The images featured a mix of studio portraits and artistic silhouettes, including moments with her husband, Adekunle Gold, capturing the couple ahead of the child’s birth.
Simi, known for her soulful sound and hits such as Jamb Question, has remained a prominent figure in Nigeria’s Afropop scene. She married Adekunle Gold in 2019, and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2020.
