Amidst the rumors and speculations, an ITHome report, citing a source at Foxconn, reveals intriguing insights. According to the report, the iPhone 15 is poised to feature a 3,877mAh battery, a substantial increase from the 3,279mAh battery employed in the iPhone 14. The larger variant, the iPhone 15 Plus, is rumored to boast a remarkable 4,912mAh battery, which would represent the most substantial battery capacity ever introduced in an iPhone. In comparison, its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Plus, incorporated a 4,323mAh battery.

Furthermore, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to house a 3,650mAh battery, surpassing the 3,200mAh battery utilized in the iPhone 14 Pro. The flagship model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, purportedly embraces a 4,852mAh battery, outshining the 4,323mAh unit present in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Notably, this suggests that the iPhone 15 Plus may feature a larger battery capacity than even the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which deviates from Apple’s established convention.

Beyond battery enhancements, the iPhone 15 series is anticipated to incorporate additional upgrades. Reports from the previous month indicate that Apple intends to equip the entire lineup with 48-megapixel camera sensors for the primary camera. In contrast, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus were equipped with a 12-megapixel main camera, while the iPhone 14 Pro series featured a 48-megapixel main camera with second-generation sensor-shift OIS support.

Recently leaked images of a purported iPhone 15 Pro case have surfaced online, unveiling a sizeable cutout designed to accommodate the camera module. Additionally, subtle modifications to the button layout on the device have been observed. Speculations suggest that Apple may abandon its familiar mute switch in favor of a mute button that could double as an Action button, akin to the functionality present in the Apple Watch Ultra. However, it is crucial to approach these leaked details and claims with caution, as Apple has yet to officially disclose any specifics regarding the purported iPhone 15 series.
