Former Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Tony Nnacheta has picked forms for expression of interest and nomination for Anambra North Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Nnacheta was a commissioner during the first tenure of former governor of the state, Willie Obiano.

He was a governorship aspirant in the 2013 Anambra Governorship election but was disqualified together with Prof. Soludo by the APGA screening committee.
