Burna Boy, Tems, Asake To Perform At Coachella 2023

In a list that has been making rounds on the Internet, Nigerian stars Burna Boy, Tems, and Asake, are rumoured to perform at this year’s Coachella Music Festival.

From Friday, April 14, through Sunday, April 23, 2023, the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert will play host to the yearly music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Online reports and rumors regarding the festival’s musical artists are already circulating.

Recall that in 2019, Burna Boy sparked a sensation when his name was revealed on the schedule but was written in small characters, and Coachella, which has previously hosted African artists on their stage, earned more fame in Nigeria.

Joining Burna Boy, Asake and Tems is Ghanaian music sensation,  coroner of the hit song ‘Kwanku The Traveller’, Black Sherif. The above-mentioned artist all had an amazing year in 2022, releasing hit songs and gaining global relevance.

Headliners Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny, and Frank Ocean were also on the list of performers and would lead the festival’s three days of musical performances.

Although the show organizers are yet to release an official statement confirming or debunking the viral flyer, this would be Burna Boy’s second performance, while Tems, Asake, and Black Sherif would be making their debut.
