Chancellor of the University, Prof. John Kessy, while delivering a speech at the event, stressed the need for tertiary institutions to devise dynamic and flexible ways to improve standard of education.

Kessy stated that EAU was structured in a flexible way that its educational programmes are tailored to individuals rather than mass model of education.
