According to CP Odumosu, measures have been put in place to forestall any act of lawlessness. “Measures have been placed to fortify the state against any unlawful gathering, procession, lawlessness and possible breakdown of law and order in Lagos state,” Mr. Odumosu said.

Given the above, the Commissioner of Police has placed officers of the command on alert to curtail cult-related activities and forestall any possible breakdown of law and order in Lagos State. He promised to deal with anyone caught trying to foment trouble.

Directing the Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and Heads of Tactical Units to monitor activities of cultists and intensify patrols across the state, CP Odumosu reiterated the command’s zero tolerance for cultism and other social vices in Lagos State.
