International Breweries Plc which produces Hero, Trophy, Eagle, Budweiser lager beers, Beta Malt, and a host of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in Nigeria, is a subsidiary of ABInBev, a multinational brewery company.

Smart drinking is a global campaign aimed at promoting responsible drinking, highlighting the need to shun harmful drinking practices which are not good for consumers. The concept promotes moderate consumption so that consumers can always have a positive experience with beer.

A report released last month by Oxford Economics titled “Global Beer Sector Economic Footprint,” revealed that the sector contributed $555 billion of Global Added Value to the global GDP in 2019 and supported an estimated 23 million jobs directly and indirectly.
