Amid the Russia-Ukraine war, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has challenged Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin to a man-to-man battle on the twitter micro-blog.

In what the Tesla Boss capped, “single combat” –  a term  that refers to a person-to-person fight on a battlefield, the tweet clearly stated that Musk was referring to the controversial Russian leader.

He wrote the names, “Vladimir Putin” and “Ukraine” in Cyrillic letters used in both Russia and Ukraine to avoid mincing words.

“I hereby challenge Vladimir Putin to single combat,” Musk tweeted early Monday, March 14, 2022.

Since gone viral, Musk’s tweet has prompted a Kremlin official to fire back at him.

Russia called the Tesla boss a “weakling” and “little devil.”

But Musk refused to back off. He tweeted yet another tagging Putin’s official twitter account this time.

“Do you agree to this fight?” The Tesla chief tweeted again.

Interestingly, Dmitry Rogozin, Head of the Russian space agency, Roscosmos, replied him this time. Rogozin wrote: “You, little devil, are still young.”

Rogozin added: “Compete with me weakling; it would only be a waste of time. Overtake my brother first.”

Ukraine’s Vice Prime Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, came to Musk’s defense, tweeting: “I am sure that @elonmusk can send Putin to Jupiter.”

Fedorov then posted a meme showing Putin inside a spaceship with the words “Send Putin to Jupiter.” The meme links to a website where donors can contribute money toward Ukraine’s defense.

It will be recalled that after Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine nearly three weeks ago, the Tesla big man agreed to the Ukrainian government’s request to provide Starlink  (Musk’s start-up internet provider)  just in case the country was cut off from landline connections.
