European champions PSG on Sunday evening were emphatic in victory as they beat a poor Inter Miami that paraded eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi 4-0 in the round of 16 fixture.

Portugal international Joao Neves scored a brace from midfield while Ashraf Hakimi guided the ball home after his initial effort was blocked.

Inter Miami conceded an own goal through youngster Tomas Aviles.

Meanwhile Fabian Ruiz saw his goal ruled out for offside.

The Parisiens will face the winner of the contest between Bayern Munich and Flamengo in Saturday’s quarterfinals clash.
