The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Friday revealed the host cities for the 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations to be staged in Morocco this July, reports Prime Business Africa.
In a release made available on the CAF website, nine-time African champions, Nigeria will play their games in the city of Casablanca.

Justin Madugu’s ladies will take on Tunisia on July 6 at the venue with the match billed to kick off at 5pm Nigerian time.
Four days later, July 10, the Falcons will face Botswana at 8pm Nigerian time. The team’s last group game comes up on July 13 when they battle Algeria.
The Fennecs ladies were in Nigeria some months ago for a two-legged friendly matches at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne-Remo and the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos.
The Falcons will face the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in similar friendlies like they did against Algeria before they set out to travel for the final phase of camping ahead of the WAFCON.

The team’s preparations for the friendlies against Cameroon begun on Monday with 25 players in the team’s hotel base.
The Falcons have most of the first team players that had ruled Africa albeit five-time African Footballer of the Year winner Asisat Oshoala was not in the team’s nest as at the time of this report.
Morocco hosted the CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
They will also host the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the men’s Africa Cup of Nations in December 2025 to January 2026.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons camped in Seville, Spain and Bordeaux, France last year prior to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The team’s preparations for the WAFCON was said to be under threat when the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) did not reveal camping arrangements and proposed friendly matches for the team.
