Fani-Kayode Hails Bwala’s Appointment As Tinubu’s Special Adviser

Former Tourism and Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode, has hailed the appointment of Former Spokesman, Atiku Presidential campaign, Daniel Bwala, as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications to President Ahmed Tinubu.

Describing the Borno State born lawyer and Policy Analyst as his ‘aburo’, Fani-kayode added that he had no doubt the international motivational speaker will deliver on his new job.

“Congratulations to my dear aburo @BwalaDaniel on his appointment as Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications to @officialABAT. I have no doubt that you will do an excellent job and I am very proud of you. May God guide, protect & lead you as you serve our fatherland,” he enthused.

An elated Bwala who told anyone who cared to listen that he had no apology decamping to the ruling party when he did, in what could pass for fait accomplished said “I want to express my profound gratitude to Mr President @officialABAT for the demonstration of confidence and trust by this appointment. I am indeed humbled and honoured to be called to serve our dear nation under the esteemed leadership of a courageous C-in-C, and father”

Recall that Bwala confirmed after leaving his former principal that he had told the President of his desire to contribute to the success of his administration.

“I told him today that I am committing to play my part to support your administration, and I have no apologies to anybody,” he had said then during an interview with Channels.

Primebusiness.africa had prior to the last cabinet reshuffle that brought in new ministers a few weeks back that Bwala could make the cabinet especially following controversial resignation of former Spokesman to the President Ajuri Ngelale.

Bwala was not the only one appointed according to a statement dished out by Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga.

Others include Bukola Olapade, former Commissioner for Sports in Ogun State as new Director-General of National Sports Commission (NSC), Dr Abisoye Fagade, Director-General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism; and Dr Adebowale Adedokun, Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement.

The new Director-General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Dr. Abisoye Fagade, is a marketing communication professional. He is the founder and managing director of Sodium Brand Solutions while Adedokun, the new helmsman of the Bureau of Public Procurement, was the director of Research, Training and Strategic Planning at the bureau before his appointment.
