Pan-Atlantic University Governing Council has approved the appointment of Dr Peter Bamkole, the current Chief Operating Officer (COO), as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), of the University.
The appointment took effect on 19th June 2024.

Prior to his role as COO, Dr Peter Bamkole, was the pioneer Director of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), PAU, from January 2003 to December 2022.
By training, Dr Bamkole is a Mechanical Engineer and has an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona Spain and a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, from the International School of Management (ISM), Paris. He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School (Chief Executive Programme).

Bamkole’s 39 years of cognate experience spans both public and private sectors (Oil & Gas, Water supply and Education).
He consults widely in Sub-Saharan Africa on entrepreneurship development and practice and is the author of the book – ‘Built by Enterprise.’
He serves on several boards including Zenith Bank Nigeria Plc as an Independent Non-Executive Director; Nigeria Climate Innovation Centre, as Chairman; International Breweries Foundation and Global Entrepreneurship Network, Nigeria; Novare Real Estate Investment Nigeria, and Lagos State Research and Innovation Council, among others. He is also a fellow of the Society for Corporate Governance, Nigeria.
Victor Ezeja is a passionate journalist with seven years of experience writing on economy, politics and energy. He holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication.
