Nigeria To Know AFCON Foes Thursday As CAF Holds Group Stage Draw 

With less than a month to the kick off of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivorie, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have already set a road map for teams hoping to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

From the information provided by the continent’s football ruling body, the preliminary round will take place from March 18 to 26, 2024 across different venues.

The first and second round matches are scheduled from September 2 to 10, 2024.

The third and fourth round games will take place from September 7 to 15, 2024 while the final rounds of the qualifiers are slated for November 11 to 19, 2024.

Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON after Guinea was stripped of its hosting rights.
