Zinoleesky Makes Debut On Billboard Charts

Oniyide Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, has officially made his debut on the Billboard Charts at an impressive number with his latest album ‘Grit & Lust.’

Zinoleesky made his debut on the Billboard World Albums Chart at number 13, Six songs from the singer’s album also debuted and peaked at high positions on the Billboard US Afrobeats Chart.

“Personal”, a song from the album, peaked at number 14 while “Yan Yan Yan” debuted at number 27. “Last Time,” a collaboration with Omah Lay, also had its chart debut at number 30, along with “Odinaka,” “Run It Up,” and “Many Roads” with Ayra Starr.”

Zino, as he’s also known, started his music career, by making freestyle rap videos and sharing them on Social Media. He would typically rap to instrumental versions of well-known songs or perform renditions of current singles in the nation. As more fans of Afrobeats and Streep Pop sounds showed appreciation for his music, he eventually grew a following on social media.

In 2019, he signed a record deal with Marlian Music, and his Chrome EP became a commercial hit. Since 2019, he has released hits like Gone Far, Kilofeshe, Ma Pariwo, Wo Wa Mi, and Rocking, making him one of the Afrobeats genre’s future defenders.

With his album “Grit & Lust,” debuting on the Billboard chart at an excellent number, it’s safe to say that, Zinoleesky is off to a great start in 2023.
