Year 2025 Is Dedicated To Completing Execution Of Solution Agenda In Anambra - Soludo

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has declared that year 2025 will be dedicated to completing the execution of Solution Agenda in the state.

Soludo stated this in his opening address at a retreat for members of the Anambra State Executive Council and mayors held in Awka, the state capital.

In the retreat which has the theme “Changing Gear, Accelerating the Execution of the Solution Agenda in 2025,” Soludo’s administration seeks to reflect on its journey in the last three years, strengthen its strategies, and drive impactful results for the people of Anambra State.

Reflecting on the sub-theme, “Changing Gears 2.0,” the governor emphasised the significance of 2025 to his administration.  He described it as a milestone year, with March next year marking the end of his first four years in office.

The retreat, according to him, is designed to provide an opportunity for the team to pause, reflect, and recalibrate for the critical period ahead.

“This is an important year for us,” the governor declared. “By the 17th of March next year, we will draw the curtain on four years of this administration. The purpose of this retreat is for us to do ‘our balcony moment,’ as we are beginning the new year from the calendar and fiscal year perspective, even though, from a tenure perspective, our administration’s new year begins in March.”

Soludo called on people to take a critical look at his administration’s roadmap, as articulated in its manifesto, and evaluate their progress. He challenged them to identify areas of success, shortcomings, and suggest new approaches to accelerate implementation.

While acknowledging the challenges his administration currently faces, the governor remains resolute in his declaration that 2025 is a year dedicated to execution and completion.

“Despite the odds, 2025 is an execution and completion year,” Soludo declared. “The intention is to coordinate and deliver in a way that we have not done before, focusing on the delivery mechanism as a team to show the people results.”

At the retreat, participants are expected to explore innovative strategies to enhance service delivery and align their efforts with the administration’s solution agenda. The Governor’s emphasis on leadership, accountability, and teamwork signals his commitment to building a sustainable framework for development in Anambra.
