USA Women’s National Team Thrash Super Falcons In Kansas Friendly

Nigeria’s Super Falcons on Saturday evening suffered a heavy 4-0 drubbing in the hands of the USA women’s national team in the first leg of their two-legged friendly matches of the United States at the Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas City reports Prime Business Africa.

Both teams are using the games as preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and will face off again on Tuesday evening.

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was impressive boy could not stop the Yankees from scoring an opener in the 13th minute through Sophia Smith.

The Americans scored two more goals in the 26th minute and in added time.

Alex Morgan scored from the spot kick take it 4-0 albeit the Falcons improved towards the end of the game.

There were however injury scares for Nigeria as the duo of Christy Ucheibe and Osinachi Ohale copped injuries with the former stretchered off.
