President Tinubu will undertake a State Visit to the United Kingdom from Wednesday, March 18 to Thursday, March 19, 2026, following an official invitation from His Majesty King Charles III, Prime Business Africa reports.
The President will be accompanied by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, during the two-day visit, which will see them hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle.
The visit marks the first State Visit by a Nigerian leader to the United Kingdom in 37 years. The last such visit took place in 1989, when Nigeria’s then military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida, was hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
