Skiibii Denies Ritual Allegations

Afrobeat sensation Skiibii has spoken out against accusations made by video vixen and influencer Nicki Dabarbie, who claimed Skiibii and fellow artist Mayorkun attempted to use her in ritual practices.

Dabarbie took to social media to accuse Skiibii of trying to use her for “rituals” during a boat cruise invitation. She further alleged that Skiibii and Mayorkun had called fake police officers to assault her and confiscate her phone while she was live-streaming the incident.

In response, Skiibii denied these allegations, calling them “false” and an attempt to tarnish his reputation. He has reported the incident to the Nigerian Police Force and is confident in a thorough investigation.

In a statement on his Instagram story, Skiibii said, “While I usually refrain from responding to media attacks, I find it necessary to address these recent false accusations. I will not allow anyone to tarnish my reputation, knowing I typically avoid media confrontations.”

He continued, “Although I’ve chosen to remain silent in the past to maintain peace, I believe it’s time to reconsider. I want to clarify that the stories circulating are entirely untrue. The truth will be revealed, and I trust the legal process.”

Skiibii emphasized his confidence in the Nigerian Police Force’s ability to conduct a comprehensive investigation, stating, “I have nothing to hide and will let the law take its course.”
