Ramadan: APC Urges Nigerians To Remain Peaceful, Pray For National Prosperity

APC Wins All Chairmanship Seats In Lagos LG Polls

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has called on all Muslim faithful in Nigeria to remain peaceful and pray for the prosperity of the country.

The National Publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress, (APC), Bar Felix Morka, made the plea today in a goodwill message to all Muslims in Nigeria as they begin the 30 days of Ramadan fasting and prayer.

Muoka also advised them to use the period for deep reflection and make amendments towards the greater devotion to Allah and then service to the nation.

The statement reads: “As the Holy month of Ramadan which marks the commencement of 30 or 29 days of fasting begins, the All Progressives Congress (APC) enjoins Muslim Ummah to use the season for deep reflection and spiritual rejuvenation towards greater devotion to Allah, and service to the nation.

“Ramadan is one of the most blessed, if not the holiest month of the Islamic calendar. The APC hereby calls on Muslim Ummah to pray for Nigeria’s accelerated and shared prosperity, development, and security, as they pray for wisdom for leaders and decision-makers at all levels of our social, political, and economic life. We invite all faithful to remember and take care of the less privileged among us.

“With the successful conclusion of the 2023 General Elections, and as the country gears up for transition from the President Muhammadu Buhari government to the incoming administration of President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we urge all well-meaning Nigerians to remain peaceful and patriotic with renewed hope for a more just, secure, peaceful, equitable and prosperous Nigeria.

“We pray the Almighty Allah answers our prayers and enkindles in us the spirit of sacrifice, humility, mercy and kindness.”
